ABOUT ME

My name is Tanya Sullivan. I am a 1994 Honours graduate of Sheridan College’s Sports Injury Management program. Certified in 1995, I worked primarily in Hamilton in two multidisciplinary clinics. Recently, after the birth of my second child I chose to open my own private practice which enabled me to find a comfortable balance between work and family.

With 15 years of both clinical and field experience, I am trained to deliver high quality, level specific, challenging, sports injury rehabilitation geared towards the recreational athlete, all the way up to the elite athlete. In addition, I have successfully treated clients injured at work or in a motor vehicle accident.

“SMART” is an acronym for “Sports Medicine And Rehabilitation by Tanya”. “Live Work Play SMART ”  stresses the importance of injury prevention in life, whether it be at work or at play. And in the event of an injury, it reflects the ability of my services to provide appropriate rehabilitative strategies.

Today, I pride myself on my intuitive manual therapy and exercise prescription skills. I am confident in the application of my scope of knowledge. I can motivate and challenge clients, all the while remaining compassionate and humourous.
